Frequently Asked Questions
**I'm new to Pilates—where do I begin?**
Beginners of any fitness level are welcome to join our group Reformer classes! Our classes are designed to help you build strength, flexibility, and confidence in the Pilates method. If you're brand new, we recommend starting with our EB Intro Teaser, which gives you the freedom to try all the group classes we offer. This is a great way to build a strong foundation in Pilates, establish a routine, and commit to your practice.
If you prefer or require a more tailored introduction, we recommend our Studio Essentials Collection or Private Coaching Sessions, which provides personalised guidance to help you get started at your own pace. No matter your experience level, we’ll support you every step of the way!
**What if the class is full?**
Add yourself to the waitlist! We have an 8-hour cancellation policy before a late fee of $10 is applied. This ensures all clients have the best opportunity to attend a class. Once you're on the waitlist, there’s a high chance you’ll be added to the class if a spot opens up.
If someone cancels, you will receive an SMS notification or an email if you haven’t provided a contact phone number. Be sure to keep an eye on your notifications so you don’t miss your spot!
**What do I do if I can no longer attend a booked session?**
If you can no longer attend a booked session, please cancel yourself out using the Momence app or by logging into your account via our website.
- Group classes must be canceled at least 8 hours before the start time to avoid a $10 late fee.
- Private or Studio Sessions must be canceled 24 hours in advance.
We do not accept late cancellations via SMS, email, or social media, so please manage your cancellations accordingly.
**Are you pregnant or do you have any injury concerns?**
Our group classes are run as group fitness classes and are not suitable for pregnancy or injury management. If you are pregnant beyond 16 weeks or have an injury, we recommend our Studio Sessions for a more personalised approach.
Before attending a Studio Session, you will need to complete a Private Coaching Session to ensure we can tailor the program to your needs.
**Why would I need a Private Coaching session?**
A Private Coaching session is a great place to start if you want to learn more about your body and how Pilates can enhance your everyday function. During this session, we will conduct a physical assessment to identify your specific needs and discuss your fitness or rehabilitation goals. From there, we will create a tailored program for you to follow in your future sessions.
A Private Coaching session is required before attending a Studio Session, regardless of your level of expertise, to ensure you receive the best possible guidance and support.
You can book your Private Coaching session with one of our Diploma-Qualified Pilates Instructors by contacting Sarah at Every Bodies Pilates & Fitness.
