
MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Sarah Iriks
With over 30 years of self mastery in Pilates and having taught Pilates for 20 years, Sarah is passionate about upholding the original traditions and principles of Pilates while being able to modernise and personalise them for the needs of her clients. With a background in classical ballet Sarah graduated from The Australian Ballet School with an Advanced Diploma in Dance and then continued her professional career with The West Australian Ballet, The Queensland Ballet and The Australian Ballet.
In 2004 Sarah completed a comprehensive Pilates training apprenticeship program followed by completing her Cert IV with Pilates International Training Centre and attaining her Diploma with Polestar Education. Sarah’s vast experience covers everything from private studio sessions through to group Reformer and Matwork classes, including clients with special requirements such as pre and post natal, injuries and rehabilitation and goal specific needs.
Sarah’s primary focus in her sessions is individualised attention and client connection with a strong belief in the Pilates method. Hard work coupled with smiles to make Pilates productive and personalised. Sarah will guide you towards your goal and beyond your comfort zone.
Sarah believes Pilates is a wonderful movement modality and a tool for healing within a supportive environment and she is excited to share her knowledge, experience and unique approach with the clients at Every Bodies Pilates.

Barbara Bachelder
Barbara has been teaching Pilates, Barre, and Dance since 2001. She was introduced to Pilates as a dancer and knew this was her calling.
Barbara is an Internationally Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, Instructor Trainer, Barre Teacher, and Personal Trainer. She also teaches TRX, Suspension Training and is a Trigger Point Coach.

She started her fitness career in Canada, working at Toronto’s major Pilates Studios and Health Clubs, among them the STOTT Pilates Headquarters. Barbara has also been teaching at Sydney’s leading clubs for over 11 years.
Barbara is passionate about helping her students reach their full potential and personal goals while keeping her classes fun, challenging, and inspiring. She loves how fitness and nutrition have a transformational influence over every area of one’s life.

Lisa Pettit
Long time Pilates client turned Instructor, Lisa's passion & dedication to the Pilates method shines through her classes. Thoughtful, detailed & challenging, Lisa enjoys working closely with clients to create positive movement experiences.
Lisa came to Pilates after an ACL reconstruction as a way to rehab her knee back to its full level of function. For a long time team sports player and gym junkie, Pilates was a revelation.
After completing her Mat certificate with Polestar Education Lisa is now completing her full Studio certificate with The Body Refinery Education.
Lisa focuses on finding control, balance and strength through movement so that clients can move and feel well throughout their daily routine. Her greatest pleasure as an instructor is watching her client’s progress and seeing how Pilates makes a difference in their everyday lives.

Sarah Kinzett
Sarah has been in the Fitness industry for 20 years. She holds a Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness and is currently completing her Certificate 4 in Nutrition.
Sarah teaches a range Group Exercise classes including Pilates (Mat, Reformer, Barre) Stretch classes and freestyle programs. She loves teaching classes and seeing the positive physical and mental outcomes it has on people.
Sarah is a keen runner & certified run coach. "I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your health & fitness goals!"
